Intellectual Property Rights in community based video games - November 2002
A philosophy paper which argues that property rights are an inappropriate remedy for disputes over player characters in MMORPGs and that in fact there are good arguments to suggest that player-characters are an extension of self, thus human rights should be extended to cover them.

A draft of the paper can be downloaded from my philosophy page.
The full paper will be published in the conference proceedings available from the CCSR.
